Barbara Jean Andrescavage, age 60, of Rock Cave, WV died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born November 25, 1952 in Mount Holly, NJ. Mrs. Andrescavage was a Christian by faith and the Assistant Director of WV Chapter of Pointman Ministries in Rock Cave, WV. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter and grandmother, with a heart of gold. Barbara loved traveling all over the country with her family and devoted her life to doing God’s work. She will be greatly missed but we know she is a beautiful angel in Heaven. She is a daughter of Thelma A. Bates Banner of Glendora, NJ and the late Harry Banner. On October 25, 1972 she married William C. Andrescavage who survives. In addition to her mother and husband she is survived by three daughters, Melissa May Howard and husband Frankie of McDonald, PA, Heather Victoria Hutson and husband Brad of Grafton, WV and Katie Megan Andrescavage of Poplar Branch, NC; four grandsons, Zachary C. Burkhardt in US Army, Tyler M. Burkhardt in US Marine Corps both of Fort Benning, GA, Lukas Howard of Canaan Valley, WV and Aidan L. Goldsmith of Grafton, WV; two granddaughters, Brittany M. Burkhardt of McDonald and Reese A. Hutson of Grafton; two brothers, Lee Banner of Fishkill, NY and Sheldon Banner of Bethel Park, PA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Terry G. Banner Friends will be received Monday, July 1, 2013 from 4-6 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 6 PM Monday at the funeral home. A private family burial will take place at a later date by the beach in a National Cemetery at Sarasota, FL.
