Born in Arcadia on June 16, 1924, she was a daughter of Oliver Delbert and Grace (Roberts) Bowman. On Sept. 29, 1946, she married Robert W. Knepper at Arcadia Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Miller and Diane Knepper, Upper Sandusky; a son, Dan, Simi, Calif.; four grandchildren, Nichole Kneedler, Pickerington; Monica Miller, Columbus; Christopher Miller and Ashley Miller, Upper Sandusky; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Hazel Blose, Delaware. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn, Delbert and Earl Bowman; and a sister, Thelma Snyder.
A 1942 graduate of Arcadia High School, Mrs. Knepper was a nurse's aide at Wyandot Memorial Hospital for 16 years. She was a volunteer at the hospital after retiring, and at one time worked at GE in Tiffin.
She was a 50-year member of First Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Knepper enjoyed reading, shopping and music.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lucas Funeral Home with the Rev. Julianne Smith officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
