1st Sergeant Francis H. Casey served during the Civil War in Company E, 69th Pennsylvania Infantry. Earlier in the war he served in Company D of the Scott Legion, 20th Pennsylvania Infantry and later in Company H, 90th Pennsylvania Infantry. He died while on furlough in Philadelphia from the Dayton, Ohio Soldiers Home.
