Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, at Bentley Funeral Home in Durant and one hour prior to service on Friday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Memorials may go to the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and to the Alzheimer's Association.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 16, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Durant. The Rev. David Lawson will officiate. The organist will be Mabyn Fox and vocalist will be Henry Bentley. Pallbearers will be Jason Bierkamp, Harlan Bland, Roy Lammers, Robert Doran, Vernon Schlapkohl, and Loren Fox. Burial will be in the Durant Cemetery, Durant, Iowa.
Alberta Dean Berry was born April 13, 1917, to Albert and Florence (Owen) Berry in Kilduff. She married Raymond Henry Larson on April 4, 1943, in Fairfield. She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Durant and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Durant.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond of Durant; one son, Rev. Ronald (Karen) Larson of Conway, AK; two grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Rader of Creston and Eileen Wicker of Howley, MN; and one brother, Jesse Berry of Silver Springs, MD.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Randy Larson.
