Grandson of Mary M Reardon Delihant
and William Thomas Delihant, Sr


Born May 18, 1927, in Chicago, IL. to Harold Augustine Delihant and Dorothy Rolleri Delihant, and raised in the nearby suburb of River Forest.

He died 1/29/07 of being 79 years of age. Harold married Georgene Frances Hegji in 1951 and in 1953 they moved their family to California where they lived in the San Francisco East Bay for 43 years, and Folsom for 11 years.

He is survived by his wife, daughter Claudia Delihant Poole, son David Delihant and their respective spouses Randolph E. Poole and Gail King Delihant; a sister Lynn Delihant Maloney of Mesa, AZ; and was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Robert David. Harold was a graduate of the University of California - Berkeley, and spent virtually his entire life in the household goods moving and storage industry operating businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Sacramento. He was a life member of the California Moving and Storage Association, served as an officer and board member for 14 years and became its Chairman in 1988. Harold was lifelong Roman Catholic and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Folsom.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Three Rivers, MI, followed by internment at neighboring Harwood Lake Cemetery, Cass County, MI.
