He owned and managed Dakota Star Rodeo Productions where he was a rodeo producer and contractor.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jeffrey, at home; a daughter, Sandra Jo Aldal, Sioux Falls, SD; two brothers, Ted, Nuevo, Calif., Robert, Des Plains, Illinois.; three sisters, Louise Wilhite, Twenty-Nine Palms, Calif., Patricia Fraide, Newport Beach, Calif., Charolette Wirtz, Yucca Valley, Calif.
