Tuesday, November 24th in the early part of the night the death angel called our dear husband and father David D. Rosenbaum to that great beyond where changes never come and all shall rest in the peace. He was born in Virginia, May 8, 1851, being 85 years, 7 months and 16 days old.

He was married to Melvina Comer in 1876. They came to Missouri in 1889.

He leaves to mourn; his wife and ten children, thirty-one grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; Nettie Rippee, Schell City; W. F. Rosenbaum and Janie Lockwood; Alice Gillen, of Nampa, Idaho; Sarah Hunter, Carthage, Mo.; Mae Garman, of California; Boyd, Sim, Sam and Fred, all of Stockton, Mo. Two children preceded him in death, Walter and Johnnie.

He was a dear, loving father, always thoughtful of his loved ones and friends. Although he had not been well for years, he bore his suffering as cheerful as could be. He was converted when young and asked the Lord to bless one and all of us on his death bed and said he was ready to go.

His funeral was preached by Rev. Prall after which he was laid to rest in the Younger Cemetery.

"Dear father, we will miss you
And our hearts are bleeding sore,
But we pray and hope to meet you
On that bright and happy shore."
