LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Kevin Curtis Short, 34, of Lily, Ky., passed away at Lake Cumberland in Pulaski County, Ky., Sunday, June 30, 2013.
He was born July 29, 1978, in Dearborn, Mich., the son of Gary and Brenda Jenkins Short, who survive of London. He was united in marriage to Linda Alexander Short, who survived of Lily. He is also survived by three children, Kailee, Kevin Christopher and Jakob, all of Lily; one sister, Kristy Howard; and one brother, Jason Howard, both of Lincoln Park, Mich.; plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Short.
Short was an area manager for Wal-Mart DC in London, a member of the National Guard and of the Baptist faith.
Funeral service for Kevin Curtis Short will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 4 in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Scotty Witt officiating.
Burial will follow in A. R. Dyche Memorial Park at London.
