Mr. Anderson passed away Thursday, July 16, in Xenia, Ohio. He was a retired farmer. Born April 25, 1903 in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Jim AceAnderson and Minnie Ledbetter Scott.
A former resident of Jackson County, he was first married to the former Sally Carlile, who passed away in 1963, and later married Myrtle Anderson, who survives.
A member of the Assembly of God Church, he was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Irene and Odell Reed.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons and daughters-in-law, Homer and Olene Anderson, Louis and Stella Anderson and Charles and Gina Anderson, all of Dayton, Ohio; three daughters and sons-in-law, Colene and Clyde Ledbetter and Willine and Glynn Neely, all of Indiana and Ova and Jim Lee of Dayton, Ohio; two step-children, Juanita Spencer and Emit Austin, both of Ohio; three brothers, Aulcie Anderson, Elvis Scott and Alford Scott, all of Gainesboro; four sisters, Mrs. Beulah Brown, Mrs. Clio Smith, Mrs. Eva Mae Allen and Mrs. Ethel Stafford, all of Gainesboro; 23 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 14 step-great-grandchildren.
Anderson Funeral Home, Gainesboro and George C. Martin Funeral Home, Dayton, Ohio, were in charge of the arrangements.
