LAURENCE, BEVERLY JEAN; was granted her angel wings and called home by the Lord on September 9, 2011. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family and her faith, in the Rochester Hills house that she turned into their home more than 30 years ago. It was there that she ended her 13-year battle with breast cancer on her own terms, and passed peacefully and quietly in her sleep. Beverly was born on March 23, 1949 in Westchester, IL to Lorraine and Adolph Allabastro, and was a beloved sister to three brothers, Robert (deceased), Wayne (deceased), Warren; and four sisters, Margaret, Susan, Patricia, and Paula. On her way to a Bachelor's Degree in Education at Northern Illinois University, Beverly fell in love and married her soulmate and partner for life, Kenneth James Laurence Sr., and on August 7, 2011 they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. She was the proud, adored, amazing mother of Kenny and Jamie, and a dear friend to countless others that she touched throughout her life. She leaves behind her life's work as a loving dedicated wife, a fiercely devoted mother, and a loyal friend who was committed to being a model of unconditional love, compassion, selflessness, warmth, and kindness. Beverly's life will be celebrated at a visitation and funeral mass.
