Uncle Cut was the son and youngest child of Harold Cutter & Alice Wales (Lee) Everett. He was what you would call a daredevil. He was fearless. I remember hearing about Uncle Cut and his cousin, Robert, taking his boat out during Hurricane Bob and when they eventually decided to bring her to shore the pier had washed away so he had to jump in the water and swim back to shore and he did this when he was 78 years old.

But he was a sweetheart and he had a great sense of humor but I think it was his way of coping with losing two of children when they were still young. I firmly believe he is truly happy now knowing that he is with his children and Aunt Polly up in heaven sailing on his favorite boat.
