Masonic services were conducted at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon for William T. Wells, 77, Sedalia, Missouri, merchant, who was a native of Giles County. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Wells died in a Sedalia hospital Thursday night, March 21, 1946 of a heart attack, and the remains arrived in Fayetteville a short time before the funeral service was scheduled to be held. He spent his early life in Giles County, moving later to Lincoln County, then to Sedalia, where he was engaged in business for a number of years. His wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Lamb Wells, died about 8 years ago. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mary Abernathy and Miss Pearl Wells of Nashville, and Mrs. David Wade of Pulaski; a niece, Mrs. Edwin Craig of Nashville; and a nephew, David Wade, Jr., an attorney of Pulaski.
