DIES UNEXPECTEDLY
Ernest William Boatwright, 34, who made his home with his mother, Mrs. Rosa Boatwright, 714 Atchison, died unexpectedly at the Boatwright residence. He had been in poor health the past six years and was under medical care. He was an army veteran of the Korean war.
Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Sawin-Dyer chapel, the Rev. Jack Jones, pastor of the Nazerine church, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakhill cemetery.
Ernest Boatwright was born in the Bean lake vicinity, March31, 1926. His father Joseph Ernest Boatwright died in 1948. Ernest attended elementry school in Atchison. He was employed at LFM Mfg. Co. from 1948 until centering the service in 1952. He served two years in the army and was unable to work afterwards because of ill health.
His church affiliation was with Salvation Army.
He leaves his mother, who is employed in the kitchen of the Atchison Hospital; a sister, Mrs. Helen Sample, St. Joe; a brother James D. Boatwright of the home; two nieces and two grand nieces.
