In 1930 she and Otto lived in a house they owned at 115 South Nebraska Street in Marion. Their home was valued at $7000. He still worked as a machinist in a garage. Dottie lived at the School For The Blind in Indianapolis.

Funeral services for Lida Howe, 83, S. Nebraska st., will be Friday at Diggs Funeral Home, 501 W. Third St., with the Rev. Vernon Bowers officiating, Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Fairmount. Mrs. Howe died Wednesday at the Marion General Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church and a life resident of Grant County. She is survived by her husband, Otto and one daughter, Dorothy Howe, Richmond.
