DEATH OF AARON DIEFENDERFER.
AGED FULLERTON RESIDENT SUCCUMBS TO GENERAL DEBILITY.
Aaron Diefenderfer, an aged and highly respected resident of Fullerton died yesterday afternoon at his home. He had been suffering for some time with general debility. The deceased was one of 12 children of John and Saloma Diefenderfer, who were among the earliest settlers of Fullerton, and who during their time owned all of the land in that section of the county. Mr. Diefenderfer was for many years a contractor, but for the past 20 years lived retired. He lived at Fullerton all his life.
He is survived by his wife and these children: Jonas and Milton Diefenderfer of Fullerton, Alexander of Cementon, Edwin of Catasauqua, Mrs. William Bartholomew of West Catasauqua, Mrs. Rudolph Schoenhut, Mrs. Nathan Haffner, Mrs. David S. Snyder of Fullerton, Mrs. Polly Schmoyer of Nazareth and Mrs. George Rockel of Cementon. One sister, Mrs. James W. Snyder, who is 87 years of age, and a number of grandchildren also survive.
The funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his late home near Fullerton Junction. Interment will be made in Mickleys Cemetery.
