MISS MARGARET KANE, DIES; P.S. ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
A solemn requiem mass for Miss Margaret T. Kane, assistant to the principal in charge of Public School 39 since 1925, who died at her home. 662 10th Street, yesterday will be celebrated Tuesday at 10am, at St. Saviour's R. C. Church, 8th Avenue and 6th Street.
Miss Kane was born in Brooklyn and was a lifelong resident of Park Slope section of the borough. she was formerly Assistant Principal of Public Schools 10 and 6.
She was a regular attendant at the Catholic Summer school of America in Cliff Haven, N.Y.. and a member of the board of directors of the Alumnae association of the school. She was a graduate of the Girl's High School and a student at Columbia and New York Universities.
She is survived by three sisters; Miss. Elise R. Kane, Mrs. Mary M. Barr, Mrs. Henry R. Cox, and three brothers Daniel C., Joseph, and John Kane.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery
