LEONA FOWLER
Mrs. Leona Fowler, 63, who had resided on R.R. 2 Westport the past 10 years, died at 10:40 A.M. Sunday in Jennings County Hospital in North Vernon. Mrs Fowler was born July 21, 1918, in Switzerland County, the daughter of Louis and Grace Mae Webster Boyd. She was married to Henry Fowler April 29, 1922 in Versailles, Indiana and her survives. Also surviving are two sons: Robert Earl Fowler, Anderson and Donald W. Fowler, Westport, one daughter, Judy Fowler, Westport; 11 grandchildren; one g-grandson; two sisters; Mrs. Bessie Neeb, Anderson and Mrs. Warren [Ethelene] Milburn, Greensburg; and a half sister, Nora Dickson, Greensburg. She was preceded in death by one son, Arthur Fowler. The services will be conducted at 11a.m. Tuesday at the Gilliland- Howe Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph Dolph pastor of the South Dearborn Baptist Church officiating, and with burial in the St. John's Napoleon Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today.
