Huguenot, NY: Clinton James Marion, 87 years old, died after a long illness at Bon Secours Hospital in Port Jervis, NY on Thursday, November 8, 2012. Born to Elmer and Clara Marion in Bloomingdale, NJ where he was raised, he then lived in Vernon Twp., NJ for many years before moving to Huguenot, NY 27 years ago.

Mr. Marion served with the United States Army during WWII receiving a Purple Heart for injuries sustained. He then worked as a self employed painter for 46 years before retiring in 1996. He was an avid solitaire and crossword player with a great sense of humor and was a loving family man.

Mr. Marion was predeceased by his wife, Lillian Marion(2001), 2 brothers, Joseph and Daniel Marion and a sister, Marie Marion and was the devoted father of James Marion of Branchville, NJ, Richard Marion of Montague, NJ, Mary Ann Marion of Wilmington, NC, Christine DeJesus of Newton, NJ and Carolyn Clark of Huguenot, NY. Dear brother of Natalie Hall of Bloomingdale, NJ, Emily Hubschmitt of Denville, NJ, Eileen Carroll of Florida and Gertrude DeGraw of Bloomingdale, NJ. Cherished by 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, NJ on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Clove Cemetery,
