A rosary and Mass for John MacFarlane Daigle, 73, owner and operator of Palace Meat Co. in Fresno, will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Cathedral in Fresno.
Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery . Mr. Daigle died Saturday.
Born in Rockport, Mass., he lived in Fresno for 72 years. His Palace Meat Co., one of the oldest independent meat companies in Fresno, was established in 1899 by his father-in-law.
Mr. Daigle was a member of the Fresno Trade Club and St. John's Cathedral.
Surviving are his wife, Rosemary; a son, Thomas J. Daigle of Fresno; a foster son, Alfred Cameron of Reseda; two daughters, Deana Azzaro of Fresno and Jayne Harris, of Clovis; a sister, Margaret Cameron of Fowler; 16 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 1 to 7 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel
