A Miami resident since 1943. A Charter member who helped organize Southwest United Methodist Church taught Sunday School and served as the first Sunday school superintendent. The Congregation called her "Mother of the Church" and honored her October 12th birthday each year with a church dinner.
Widow of James Logan Lynch, Mrs. Lynch outlived 5 of her children.
She is survived by a son, Virgil, of Miami; daughters, Burnette Hopper, of Atlanta, Marie Russell, of Tempe, Arizona, and Catherine Spiesberger, of Pensacola; 22 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren, and 51 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Southwest United Methodist Church, 6700 Southwest 38th Street, Miami, 33155. Donations to the Church in her memory.
Burial in Pleasant Run Cemetery, Lebanon, Kentucky, by Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, Kentucky. Local services by Van Orsdel Bird Road.
