Mrs. Grace Moulton - Panton- Mrs. Grace Moulton, 88, died Wednesday evening October 21, 1981 in Middlebury after a long illness.
She was born in Enosburg Nov. 28, 1892, daughter of William and Carrie (Hodges) Chaffee. She was a member of the Vergennes Congregational Church, Otter Creek Chapter OES, Winona Rebekah Lodge 55 and Odd Fellow orders. She taught school in Panton for several years and also was a school director and town reprsentative. She was the widow of Ray Moulton.
Mrs. Moulton is survived be one son, Harold R. Moulton of Panton; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, W. Jay Chaffee of St. Albans and Frank Chaffee of East Middlebury; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Brown-McClay Funeral Home, Vergennes. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond Buckey, Ralph O'Bryan, Loran O'Bryan, George Jackson, Osman Fisher and Clifford Bigelow.
