Hazleton Standard-Speaker; Friday, October 18, 1996:
Lawrence Enama, 56, of 510 E. Chestnut St., Hazleton, died Wednesday evening at the hospice unit of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of Bertha (Skernolis) Enama and the late Joseph Enama. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 589; and the American Legion, Hazleton. Enama was an Army veteran and worked for more than 35 years at General Foam.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are brother, Joseph, Macungie; sister, Mrs. David (Margaret) Zoscin, Blakeslee; longtime friend, Joan Enama, Hazleton; and nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. Burial will be in Holy Trinity R.C. (German) Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to the Salvation Army.
