Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Meeks Wilson, age 88, will be held at 11:00 Friday, July 5, 2013 at the First Church of the Nazarene with interment to follow at Corinth United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. T. Manuel Johnson will officiate.
Mrs. Wilson was born February 17, 1925 in Johnson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late William Eason Meeks & Lillie Pearl Hutcheson Meeks , her husband, Buford Wilson, a grand-daughter, Sherri Pope Waller, three sisters, Lillie Mae Meeks Wilson, Katie Mae Meeks Stapleton and Marguerite Meeks Tuberville and a brother, Carnage Olen Meeks. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and was retired as seamstress from Apparel Craft Industries. She also was formerly employed by Laurens Park Mills. Mrs. Wilson passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Fairview Park Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. Friday July 5, 2013 at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, 155 Lakeview Drive, Wrightsville, Georgia 31096.
