Dessie Mae (Nix) Kelly of Trumann departed to her heavenly home July 3rd, 2013 from her residence. She was born July 30th, 1927 to the late Porter and Velma Nix of Waterloo, Alabama. She was a dedicated home maker and the loving mother of seven children. She was a member of Central Community Church (formerly Pleasant Grove Baptist church). She was the wife of the late Warren Kelly of Trumann, Arkansas.
She is survived by 4 daughters; Barbara Kelly, Delores Jacobs and her husband, Tommy, Martha Mortin and Marilyn Brickell and her husband Keith.
She is preceded in death by her sons, Dennis and Terry, her daughter Wanda and her grandson, Steven Kelly and his wife, Jean.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 6, at 2:00 pm at Central Community Church with Keith Brickell officiating and assisted by Tommy Jacobs and Milton Cowling. Pallbearers include Jon Mortin, Justin Brickell, Derek Brickell, Tylor Standley, Paul Wilson and Kenneth Reiathabaum. Burial will follow at Willis Cemetery.
Visitation will precede the service at the church from 12:30 to 2:00 pm.
Services are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
