Mr. Silvers died from injuries received when his home caught fire while he, and his family were sleeping. His wife, Elsie Silvers, and 3 year old son, Joseph Heisler, also died in the fire.

One of the only things in the home that was found not burned, was a love note that Tim had left with two roses, for his wife Elsie.
This is what the note said,...

Elsie,
These Roses are a symbol of my Love,
But as these Roses may wither away,
My Love for you shall never wither away.
The Thorns are for the pain we have had, and all the pain we shall Conquer.
Just as the Leaves are connected to the Roses, so is my heart to yours.
These two Roses are just like me and you, as they wither away, so shall we together.
Love, Tim
