Robert Timothy (Tim) Creeden passed away peacefully at home in Orlando, FL on December 18, 2008. He was born in Celina, Ohio on November 21, 1934 to Robert F. Creeden and Anna Lee Pulskamp.

Tim received his degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton in 1958. He worked at RCA at Patrick Air Force Base, TVA in Knoxville, TN and HNTB Engineering in Orlando before starting a 27 year career at NASA at the Kennedy Space Center. He began his NASA career as the structural engineer in charge of LC-39. During the Apollo Program, Tim led the team responsible for moving the Apollo space vehicles from the Vehicle Assembly Building to Launch Complex 39. His group also had the requirement to supply high pressure gas and cryogenic support to the Apollo vehicle when it was on the pad. He was a test support controller at Pad A for the Apollo 7 through 11 launches, monitoring the vehicle from the launch control room. Tim was passionate about the space program. In a press release from NASA in 1972, Tim was quoted as saying "I believe that each new frontier opened to man must be explored and examined for all the knowledge it may yield." Tim continued to work at NASA until his retirement in 1990.

Tim was an avid sport fisherman, sailor and outdoorsman. He was a member of the Third Order of the Franciscans at St Teresa Catholic Church in Titusville, FL. After retiring he and his wife traveled and camped in the North Carolina Mountains.

His memorial service was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22 at North Brevard Funeral Home, 1450 Norwood Ave. Titusville, FL.
