Ayle Rites at Peetz Tuesday

Alvey S. Ayle, 81, a resident of Peetz for 41 years, died Thursday night at a Sterling hospital where he had been entered the day before. He had been in failing health for some time. He had moved from Iowa to Sidney and was in the building construction business here for 11 years before moving to Peetz where he owned and operated the Peetz Lumber Co. prior to his retirement several years ago. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Peetz E.U.B. Church with the Rev. Raymodn Scott officiating. Burial is to be in Greenwood Cemetery in Sidney, under the direction of the Gehrig and Son Funeral Home. Members of the family have designated the Crippled Children's Easter Seal Fund as a memorial. Mr.Ayle was born April 7, 1879, at Ypres County, Illinois, a son of Jacob B. and Fannie Young Ayle. He was married April 5, 1910, at Bridgeport, to Kate E. Millard. He was a member of the Methodist Church and Mason Lodge. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Frances H. Anderson, of Madras, Ore.; two sons, Millard C., of Peetz, and Orval T. of Albuquerque; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and four brothers, John of Beloit, Wis., Earl V. of Longmont, Colo., Frank, of Thedford, Neb. and Chester of Pine Bluffs, Wyo.
