Margie Pierce Lovelace, 84, 1102 King Springs Road, Johnson City, died Wednesday, October 4, 2007 at the Asbury Place. Mrs. Lovelace was a native of Cater County who had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Richard Pierce and Elva A. Stout. She was a member of Sinking Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Harmon Lovelace; one son, Herschel Holloway, of Johnson City; one brother, Burchel Pierce; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Margie Pierce Lovelace will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday, October 6, 2007 in the Sinking Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Reece Harris will officiate. Burial will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Sunday School Class at Sinking Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 AM to 1 PM Saturday prior to the service.
