Thomas Fain "Tuffy" Myers, age 74, of Rogersville, went to be with the Lord Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was retired from Bellsouth after 32 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Myers; mother, Birdie Myers Holt; step-father, Roy Holt.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Myers; daughters, Joyce Myers Cagle, Tracey Lackey and husband Brice; grandchildren, Kori Elizabeth Lackey, Luke Brice Lackey; faithful companion, Izzie; brother, Floyd (Betty) Myers of Texas; sisters, Irene (Jim) Hickman of Rogersville, Raye (Jerry) Frix of Texas, Joyce (Eugene) Klepper of Rogersville; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.
Funeral services will follow with Willie Klepper officiating. Hawkins County Color Guard and Tennessee Army National Guard will conduct military graveside services 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Highland Cemetery.
