"Frank Alvarez Robles, 76, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona.
Frank was born on March 3, 1937 in Pirtleville, Arizona. The seventh child of Francisco L. and Romula A. Robles. Of his siblings, Gilberto, Jose, Gregorio, Carmen and Marta Galindo have preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother Jesus (Alicia) Robles and sister Magdalena Martinez along with numerous nieces and nephews. Frank also leaves his loving wife of 57 years, Olga Orduno Robles; his two sons, Franck George and Richard L. Robles, daughter in law Leona Decker Robles and grandchildren Ricardo Prospero and Alessandra Stefanie.
Frank maintained a keen interest in civic affairs, was industrious responsible and mentally alert. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves Receiving his honorable discharge. Frank worked for Phelps Dodge Reduction Works for 29 years. After his retirement from Phelps Dodge, he worked for Vision Quest and for the last 10 years was employed as a security guard for Wackenhut and G & S at Cochise College.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Brown Page Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Pirtleville, Arizona with Military Honors by the American Legion and VFW.
Pallbearers who will serve are Ed Rivera, Ray Young, Ronald Rivera, Tony Galindo, Michael Robles and Gerald Robles. Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Michael V. Gomez, Richard Lopez, David Encinas, Raul Castro, Joe Chavez and Manuel M. Amarillas."
