Loie passed away in Ferron, Utah at the age of 100 years old. She was the daughter of Melvin Orson Miner and Mary Elnora Young. In 1929 she came to Ferron, Utah to teach school. It was then she met her eternal companion, sweetheart and friend, Francis Lyman Beach. They were married on June 29, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had a happy and peaceful life for 51 years. Loie had a long and fruitful life and was blessed with many gifts and talents. After graduating from Brigham Young University she taught school for 30 years touching the lives of many students who still remember her and are grateful for for her influence as she was for their continued relationship. Loie loved music and enjoyed playing piano-especially hymms. In her later years she so much appreciated those who came and sang and played for her. She had a gift for writing and composed much beautiful poetry, also many tributes, presentations and lessons. These have brought joy to the lives of many. As a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints she accepted many callings, both executive and teaching positions which she fulfilled to the best of her ability. The call she loved the most was the time spent as an ordinance worker in the Manti Temple with her Beloved Husband. Service to God and her fellow man was her creed and she truly lived by it. She gave unselfishly of herself, her time and her means to all. Loie is missed by all who knew her. She leaves a legacy of strength from her example and her endurance. She was the Beloved Mother of one daughter, Marilyn. She was the second of five children.
