STOCKWELL - David "Dave" Vernis Timmons, 69, of Rt. 6, Lafayette, died in the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, at 2:30 PM Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1966. He had been in failing health for three years and had been a patient there for four weeks.

Born near Fickle Station in Clinton County, he was married to Minnie A. Saeger in Mulberry in 1916. Mr. Timmons was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Stockwell Masonic Lodge No. 693 and the Eastern Star, Hope Chapter No. 5 of Lafayette.

Surviving with his widow are a son, Floyd M. Timmons of Lafayette, and five grandchildren. Burial will be at Fairhaven Cemetery, Mulberry.
