Ada Clariece " Lucy" Kingry
Miss "Lucy" 83, began dancing with the angels on Saturday, February 2, 2013.
Born March 24, 1929 in Barnwell, Alabama, she had lived in Quincy, Florida since 1963. She was a skilled homemaker, former Miss Bon Secour, who loved dancing, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters Debbie Waters (husband Mike) and Pam Carter (husband David) both of Quincy, Florida; a sister Inez Dean of Bon Secour, Alabama, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and very special friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Herbert Kingry of 49 years, two sons Steve and Chris Kingry, a grand son Jason Kingry, one brother and seven sisters.
Funeral services will be held at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, Quincy, Florida, on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Independent Funeral Home,(850)875-1529 Quincy, Florida, on Sunday, February 3, 2013, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.
Family will receive friends at the home of Debbie and Mike Waters.
