Arthur Dean Walker Jr. 48 died at Toumey Regional Medical Center. Born in Florence he was the son of Arthur Dean "Butler" Walker and Caroline Byrd Walker. He was a graduate of McClenaghan High School in Florence and was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a Charter Member of Lakewood Links Golf Club. Walker was a retired Master Sergent ffrom the United States Air Force after 21 years of service and was a Vietnam War Vet. He was employed by Interlake Packaging Corp. Survivors besides his parents of Florence are his wife, Caroline Stone Walker of the home; two daughters Katrina M Walker of Lexington; Paula K Walker of Love Oak, FL; two sons Michael W Baird and Theodore Baird of Sumter; two sisters, Dr. Irma Floyd of Columbia and Karen Driggers of Orangeburg: a brother William R Walker of Chapin and three grandchildren.
