Susie Luelgie Goerner, 83 of Ames, died on Monday, December 22, 2008 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada with Pastor David R. Burling officiating.

Burial will follow in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery.

Susie was born on June 2, 1925 in Des Moines to Everette and Dollie (Walker) Northway .
She was a homemaker.
Susie loved having her family together and enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling.

Susie is survived by 4 sons, Wes Jarnagin of Altoona, Ray Jarnagin of Trenton, MO, Billy Robb of Story City, and George Jarnagin of Nevada; a daughter, Annabell Mayo of Herington, KS; numerous grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and a few great great grandchildren; a brother, Evert "Bud" Northway of Oskaloosa; 2 sisters, Rose Mary Eveland and Dollie Waters, both of Des Moines.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Everette & Dollie Northway, 2 daughters, Sue and Hulda, a son, John, 4 sisters, and a brother.
