THE WORK OF DEATH.
Clement Lee Bowlus.
Mr. Clement Lee Bowlus, youngest son of Captain Samuel H. Bowlus, of Bowlusville, Ohio, formerly of Middletown valley, died at the residence of his brother-in-law, Mr. T. C. M. Schindler, at Toledo, Ohio, on the morning of the 23d ult., of bilious fever, in the 29th year of his age. Mr. Bowlus was on a visit to his sister when he was taken sick, and died after an illness of one week. His remains were taken home to Bowlusville, and on June 26th were interred in Ferncliff cemetery, Springfield. Six of his brothers acted as pall-bearers. His was the first death in the family for forty years.
