Olin Bryan Groom died May 24, 1972 at the Gentry County Hospital at Albany, MO. at age 63.The son of Rev. and Mrs. A.L. Groom, he was born Sept. 3, 1908 in Gentry County.
He spent his childhood around Siloam,MO. Groom was a member of the Lone Star Baptist Church.On Feb.9, 1927 he married Ella Marie Allen.They became the parents of five children.
He was preceded in death by his parents,three brothers and four sisters. Following retirement, Groom resided in Bethany, MO.His wife, 2 sons,and 3 daughters survive him. Also surviving, 1 sister, 4 brothers,and 16 grandchildren.
Services Saturday, May 27,1972 at the Noble-Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany MO.
