Connie M. (Ager) Auld, 77, of Hampton Township, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013, in her home. She was born Nov. 19, 1935, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Edward K. and Rachel (Hoon) Ager. Connie was a 1953 graduate of Hampton High School, where she met her beloved husband of 56 years, Robert Auld. She was a registered nurse and belonged to the Pennsylvania Nurses Association. Connie's faith was strong and her Bible, well read. She served as a deacon and sang in the choir for more than 20 years at Parkwood United Presbyterian Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughters. She is survived by her husband, Robert F. Auld, of Hampton Township; three sons, Robert (Ruth) Auld, of Pittsburgh, Daniel (Cindi) Auld, of Wildwood, Pa., and David Auld, of Hampton Township; five grandchildren, Joshua (Jan) Auld, of Kennett Square, Carrie (Edis Denic) Auld, of Chicago, Rachel (Robert) Reed, of Winchester, Va., and Daniel Auld and Amber Auld, both of Wildwood, Pa.; and two great-granddaughters, Lilly and Claire Auld, of Kennett Square. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Ager. Connie's family will welcome friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service Monday, July 1, 2013, at Parkwood United Presbyterian Church, 4289 Mt. Royal Blvd., Allison Park, PA 15101. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Church, with the Rev. Jeffrey Potter officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mount Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw. HERBERT R. KING JR.
