S. IZETTA WILLMORE

S. Izetta Willmore, daughter of Jesse Brown and Nancy Morris Brown, was born October 23rd, 1891, in Thayer County Nebraska, and passed away suddenly Feb. 25th, 1973 in Hebron, Nebraska at the age of 81 years.

S. Izetta Willmore lived in the Thayer County area all of her lifetime and attended Hebron High School, graduating in 1909. Izetta Brown was united in marriage to John D. Willmore in 1910 in Hebron, Nebraska, and to this union eight children were born. She was an active member of the First Christian Church of Hebron, the Pilot Sunday School Class, the Pioneer Center, and the Green Thumb Garden Club.

Izetta Willmore was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Willmore, her parents, and two sons, Richard and Billie.

She is mourned in passing by her children, Donald Willmore of Omaha, Nebraska; Max Willmore of Bruning, Nebraska; Mrs. R. M. (Kathryn) Stauber of York, Nebraska; Edith Witt of Omaha, Nebraska; Mrs. Wm. (Barbara) Rakestraw of Oklahoma City; and Mrs. Wm. (Joyce) Ortman of Hebron, Nebraska; one brother, Fred Brown of California, 27 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Wednesday, February 28th, 1973 at 2:00 P.M., at the First Christian Church of Hebron with Rev. Paul Whitfield officiating. Pall bearers were her grandsons: Wilmer D. Willmore, Robert J. Stauber, Gerald H. Stauber, Max E. Willmore Jr., Richard B. Witt, and William R. Ortman. Vocal selections were rendered by Pat Hoffman and JoAnn Jackson with organ accompaniment by Deanne Miller. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hebron. Arrangements by Montgomery-Schroeder Funeral Home of Hebron.
