He married (2) in Annapolis, Maryland, 31 July 1862, Catharine Hyde Ray. Mr. Hurlbut returned to Winchester, Connecticut, where he still resides 1887. Mr. Hurlbut has been representative at the state Legislature. His dwelling in Winchester, occupies the site of the one build wand where lived his grandfather Captain Samuel Hurlbut, who went to Winchester in 1774.
