Mrs. T. E. Paddock.
Paulina Gardner was born in Union county, Ind., May 9, 1827 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Norris, 2023 University avenue, Wichita, September 27, 1928. Her age was 101 years, four months, and 18 days at the time of her death.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David F. Gardner. She was married in 1854 to Thomas Elmore Paddock in Indiana. Mr. and Mrs. Paddock moved to Kansas in 187(?) settling first in Marion and then in Emporia, where they lived until the death of Mr. Paddock in 1905.
To this union was born six children, three sons and three daughters. Warren G., Alexander W and Anabel Paddock preceded their mother in death while Mrs. Robert Norris, of Wichita, Mrs. W. A. Rich, of Emporia, and H. P. Paddock, of Wichita survive.
Mrs. Paddock had been a member of the Friends church all her life, and funeral services will be held at the First Friends church in Emporia Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. R. E. Jackson will conduct the services and interment will be made in Maplewood cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Paulina Gardner Paddock were held at the First Friends church in Emporia Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. R. E. Jackson conducted the services, and the Friends quartet sang. Pallbearers were: W. A. Rich, Robert Norris, H. P. Paddock, D. Lewis, P. H. Lambert and J. M. Dunsworth. Interment was made in Maplewood cemetery.
Out-of-town persons who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Robert Norris, H. P. Paddock, and Miss Dorothy Norris, of Wichita, Mr. and Mrs. D. Lewis and daughter Margaret Ann, of Topeka, Mrs. Fred Lewis, of Marion, Mrs. Jennie M. Paddock, of Topeka, and Mr. and Mrs. Perry H. Lambert and daughters, Eleanor Jane and Charlotte Ann, of Hiawatha.
