TALLULLAH, La., March 20. — (Special) — J. L. Coleman, 51, a resident of Madison parish for the past 13 years, died at his home near Tallulah Friday night after a long illness. He was a native of Tate county, Miss. He had formerly been engaged in the logging business.

Funeral services will be held from the Methodist church here Sunday afternoon with the Rev. C. Karlo Smith officiating. Burial will be in Silver Cross cemetery here.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Sarah Louise, and a sister, Mrs. J. C. McColl__ of Memphis, Tenn.
