BURLINGTON, VT. - Robert "Larry" Lawrence "Larry" Roberts, age 86, of Burlington, passed away on February 9th 2013 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt.
He was born on August 24th 1926, he was the son of Toussaint and Albina (Giroux) Roberts.
Larry graduated from Burlington High School and attended the University of Vermont (UVM) in Burlington, Vt. for two years in business.
He was a World War II Veteran.
He married Shirley Mae Tucker on June 3rd 1950 in Vergennes, Vermont. They celebrated 63 years together.
He was the Owner of Roberts Aluminum for 45 years.
Larry had a passion for race horses, breeding and racing them all over New England.
