Born Nov. 26, 1916, in Logansport, he was the son of Clyde and Ada Backus Cody. On April 21, 1950, he was married to Sheila Cinquini, who survives.
Mr. Cody retired in 1965 with the rank of sergeant after 20 years employment with the Logansport Police Department He was a member of Logansport Elks and the Fraternal Order of Police. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Also surviving are one daughter, Karlalia Cody, Indianapolis; two sons and daughters-in-law, Clyde and Elizabeth Cody, Boise, Idaho, and Brian and Deborah Cody, Houston; and four grandchildren, Brianne, Justin, Eric and Logan.
There will be no services or visitation.
