Douglas, Harriet E. (Hattie) - funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Payne & Son Funeral Home for Harriet (Hattie) E. Douglas, 85, 1719 Pacific Street who died January 2 in a Bakersfield hospital. The Reverend Emil J. Johnson of the Lutheran Church of the Messiah will officiate and interment will follow in Union Cemetery. The deceased was a native daughter of California and had lived in this state all her life. She was a member of the Native Daughters of the Golden West, of the Auxiliary 1468, of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She is survived by two nephews, James R. McKenzie and John H. Redstone both of Bakersfield and a niece Laura Talbott of Monrovia.
