HAMPTON, Ga. Mr. Coley Blease Ranew, age 60, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2005.
Mr. Ranew was born in Bulloch County on September 20, 1944 to the late Colie Ranew and the late Maxie Hagan Ranew Hendricks. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Ranew was employed as parts manager at Ranew's Trucking and Equipment. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, working in his garden and planting flowers.
Mr. Ranew is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joan Ranew; sons, Dory Blease Ranew and Derek Ranew; grandchildren, McCall Ranew, Madison Parker, Sidney Parker and Asia Williams; brother, Jerry Ranew.
A memorial service for Mr. Coley Ranew will be conducted on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home with the Rev. Clay Padgett officiating.
Friends may visit the family after the service.
