Carolyn was born as the youngest of 3 children to Porter C. and Mary Margaret (Richards) Blackburn. In 1943, Carolyn married Ralph K. Parks in Hollywood, CA. To this union, 2 children were born. After Ralph passed in 1979, Carolyn married George E. Nelson and they settled in Oregon.
Carolyn played some type of keyboards (piano?). She was also very interested in the Blackburn genealogy and did some of the early work that was shared among various family members.
