Michael J Drury was born on October 15, 1892 to parents James T Drury and Anna (Gaughran) Drury @ 618 South 18th Street, Philadelphia, PA. He was delivered by Wm. S. M. Field and was born at home. Throughout his life he worked as a laborer, helper on an Ice Wagon, roofer. According to his WWI Draft card on 5 June 1910 he had grey eyes, brown hair and medium build. He enlisted into the Army on 7 Sept 1917 in Philadelphia, PA. He was with Company I, 110th INF LGT, 28th Div., and mustered out of the Army 18 Jan 1924. He married Mary E Quigley in 1935 in Philadelphia, PA. Michael J Drury died on 6 Oct 1947 at the Philadelphia State Hospital and was buried on 10 Oct 1947 at New Cathedral Cemetery. His wife Mary was buried there with him on 17 Sept 1960. (They had no children that I am aware of at this time)
