Patricia Parrish Wesner, 90, was born on June 23, 1930 and passed away peacefully on June 18, 2021 at Mount Vernon Nursing and Rehab Center, Mount Vernon, IN, after prolonged illness.
Pat was an IU graduate in PE education and was always active and athletic, excelling in track, tennis and golf. Her love of golf continued throughout her adult life. The other loves of her life were her companion dogs and her wildlife photography which won admiration and awards.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Dr. James Wesner and three half-brothers. She is survived by a half-brother, and numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Final care was provided by her niece Linda Yuan, and by Lynn Mayes of Southern Care Hospice and arrangements will be provided by Alexander Funeral Home with interment in Alexander Memorial Park next to her parents, William and Gladys Parrish.

Linda was first introduced to Pat over 30 years ago as her father's sister. They struck up a friendship that included travels to zoos and friends and Linda ended up as her caregiver. Pat will be missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to It Takes A Village Shelter in Evansville.
