Obituary
Mrs. Rosie W. Cantrell, 73, died 8:15 a.m. Sunday of a heart attack at her home on West Green Street. She was born in Lafayette County, Arkansas on November 25, 1879.
Time of services were 4 p. m. Monday at the West Green Street Baptist Church with Rev. Will Jones in charge, assisted by S. D. Stanley. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery with Crothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers included six grandsons, R. J. Goodwin, Waterproof; Henry Gossett, Homer Gossett, Robert Goodwin, all of St. Joseph; Louis Goodwin, Leonard Wilson of Newellton.
Honorary pallbearers included R. H. Spells, B. M. Busby, S. M. Busby, M. M Ingram, J. W. Popwell and R. W. Seymour.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Maudie Wilson, Newellton; Mrs. Agnes Gossett, St. Joseph; Mrs. Florence Must, Lake Providence; Mrs. Myrtle Foster, Tallulah; two sons, Harvey Goodwin, Waterproof; Banit Wilson, Vicksburg; one brother, B. A. Adcock, Hope, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Effie Brown, Dodd Ridge, Ark.; Mrs. Lou Sibert, Fouke, Ark.; Mrs. Alice Howell, Texarkana, Texas and a large number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
